Traditionally, the consulting world is pointed in how it approaches these three mental models. Strategy consultants deal only with Business, while OD consultants address only Organisation Design, and Leadership consultants work only on Leadership Coaching.

Innovation demands an addressal of all three: business, organisation and leadership, and that too at a mental model level – What appears to be a strategy issue may actually be the mindset of one critical leader. Innovation initiatives can get derailed because leadership mindsets are safe keeping or because the structure of the organisation ensures that the 'Discovery, Development and Deployment’ stages of innovation are dissociated and become sequential silos... resulting in dilution.

The route a group company could take is to institutionalise 'Breakthrough Innovation Capabilities' across all companies while the route a growing local company takes could be to take on giants; where urgent breakthroughs that create mega impact in the market are more critical than an organisation wide architecture for innovation. An MNC that is looking at creating global breakthroughs would seek to embed a process for Breakthrough Innovation that can generate breakthrough insights across all geographies.

As a Lead-Facilitator:

Erehwon partners organisations in converting their innovation aspiration into reality.
